The Paradox that Being Rich Affords You
When you have money in the bank and don't have to work in order to pay the bills, you have freedom of time.
Once you have travelled, bought assets, dined at fine restaurants, spent your money as you wished, not having to worry about how you are going to pay rent...
When you've reached and surpassed all your goals, when you've completed education, gotten the dream job, started successful businesses, doubled and tripled your income along the way...
When you find there is no fulfillment in any of that.
When you watch the paychecks rolling in with disdain...
You reach the end of the line.
You stop the doing and start being.
The only thing to do is whatever you want.
Days of pure creativity.
You no longer care about the way you look, the clothes you wear, the car you drive or the house you live in.
You now have the freedom to do nothing. Absolutely nothing.
The only thing that is left is to find serenity and solitude in nature or whatever your heart desires. This is the paradox that money has afforded you: What brings true fulfillment doesn't require any money at all. 🍃
